GF83.70-P-4066CE Stationary Heater Control Unit, Component Description
MODEL 204
- with CODE (228) Stationary heater

A6 Stationary heater unit
A6n1 Stationary heater control unit

Location
The stationary heater control unit is integrated in the heater unit and is located in the front area of the right wheel arch.

Task
The stationary heater control unit has the following tasks:
^ Reading in of signals
^ Evaluation of input factors
^ Actuation of components
^ Transmit signals

Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
^ Direct line
^ Interior CAN (CAN B)

Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via a direct line:
- Stationary heater radio remote control receiver (A6/1)
- Stationary heater glow plug/flame monitor unit (A6r4)
- Stationary heater temperature sensor (A6b1)
- Stationary heater thermal fuse (A6f1)
If the temperature of T = 125 °C is exceeded in the heater unit, the thermal fuse of the STH recognizes overheating via the temperature sensor and switches the stationary heater off with subsequent overheating locking.

Interior CAN
The signals are read in via the interior CAN.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components
Components are actuated with the following connection:
^ Direct line

Direct line
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- Stationary heater combustion air blower (A6m2)
- Stationary heater radio remote control receiver
- Stationary heater glow plug/flame monitor unit
- Stationary heater fuel preheater heating element (A6r5) (with diesel engine)
- Stationary heater fuel shutoff valve (A6y2) (with diesel engine)
- Stationary heater switchover valve (Y16)
- Stationary heater fuel pump (Y23)

Transmit signals
The stationary heater control unit sends signals via the following connection:
^ Interior CAN

Interior CAN
the signals are sent via interior CAN.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).

Variants
Engine variants:
- Gasoline engine
- Diesel engine
