1 Cut off blue line (bl) of voltage supply wiring harness at yellow 14-pin coupling (8).
The blue line (bl) is still required.

Perform operation step 2 on vehicles without code (537) Digital radio or without code (810) Sound system.

2 Fit SLK contact spring to cut-off end of blue line (bl).
The SLK contact spring is available in the wiring harness repair kit supplement for passenger cars.

3 Wrap felt tape around red/white line (rt/ws), starting at yellow 14-pin plug (9), for a length of 2700 mm.
