Test sequence

- Switch off ignition.
- Detach coupling at component B19 (Catalytic converter temperature sensor).
- Connect adapter cable no. 220 589 00 99 37 to engine wiring harness B19 (Catalytic converter temperature sensor).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between sockets (B19x1) 1 and (B19x1) 2
- Switch on ignition.
Specified value

- Voltage[4,75...5,25V]

- Detach coupling at component B19 (Catalytic converter temperature sensor).
- Connect adapter cable no. 220 589 00 99 37 to engine wiring harness B19 (Catalytic converter temperature sensor).
- Connect 126-pole socket box at engine wiring harness.
- Measure resistance with multimeter between socket (M.65) 65 of the 126-pole socket box tester and (B19x1) 1
- Measure resistance with multimeter between socket (M.84) 84 of the 126-pole socket box tester and (B19x1) 2
Specified value

- Resistance in Ohms< 1ohms
