Windnoise/Road Noise Through Front Door Trim Panel

WINDNOISE/ROAD NOISE THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL (VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 4/15/94)

CORRECTIVE ACTION:

Install a 10 mm needle cotton-to-door sealing screen.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Remove the front door trim panel and trim panel bracket (refer to the 1995 Villager Service Manual, Page 01-05-10).

2. Remove the plastic weathershield from the front door, leaving the butyl tape in place on the door.

3. Install the new plastic weathershield (F5XY-12237A80-A for RH and F5XY-12237A81-A for LH) with the plastic shield against the door (10 mm needle insulator facing interior of the vehicle).

4. Install the front door trim panel and trim bracket (refer to the 1994 Villager Service Manual, Page 01-05-10).
