Normal Operation
The parking aid system is enabled when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the REVERSE (R) gear is selected. The parking aid module calculates the distance to an object by the use of 4 ultrasonic sensors mounted in the rear bumper. The parking aid sensors can detect obstructions in the path behind the vehicle.

DTC C1701 - sets when the left rear parking aid sensor has internally failed or has an incorrect attenuation time.

DTC C1704 - sets when the right rear parking aid sensor has internally failed or has an incorrect attenuation time.

DTC C1707 - sets when the left rear center parking aid sensor has internally failed or has an incorrect attenuation time.

DTC C1710 - sets when the right rear center parking aid sensor has internally failed or has an incorrect attenuation time.
