      Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness, or drag.

      Recommended Multi-point Inspection
    Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If using Special Operating Conditions O, inspect and lubricate as needed, (if equipped with zerk fittings). Inspect and lubricate (if equipped with zerk fittings). If not using Special Operating Conditions T, I and D. Inspect and lubricate (if equipped with zerk fittings). If using Special Operating Conditions T, I and D, O
    Tie Rod End
      Inspect tie rod ends (lubricate if equipped with Zerk fittings). If not using Special Operating Conditions.
    Steering and Suspension
      Inspect steering linkage, ball joints, suspension, tie-rod ends, driveshaft and U-joints; lubricate if equipped with grease fittings.
    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve
      Inspect PCV valve for flow (3V engines)
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
    Cooling System
      Inspect engine cooling system and hoses. If not using Special Operating Conditions.
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
      Inspect half shaft boots, (if equipped). If not using Special Operating Conditions.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, brake lines and hoses and parking brake system. Inspect brakes if using Special Operating Conditions I.
    Ball Joint
      Steering Ball Joints
    Ball Joint
      If not using Special Operating Conditions.
Replace
    Wheel Bearing
      Replace front wheel bearings and seals if non-sealed bearings are used (2WD vehicles), if using normal operating condition.
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Change engine oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months if using Special Operating Conditions T, D, O, E. Change engine oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months or 200 hours of engine operation if using Special Operating Conditions I. If not using Special Operating Conditions T, I, D, O or E.
    Fuel Filter
      Replace fuel filter (not required for Fusion, Milan, MKZ, Edge, MKX, Taurus X, Taurus, Focus, Sable, E-Series, Escape, Mariner, F-150, Flex, MKS, Expedition/Navigator (short wheel base only). If NOT using special operating conditions. Replace fuel filter (not required for Fusion, Milan, MKZ, Edge, MKX, Taurus X, Taurus, Focus, Sable, E-Series, Escape, Mariner, F-150, Flex, MKS, Expedition/Navigator (short wheel base only). If using Special Operating Conditions I and D.
    Fluid - M/T
      Replace manual transmission fluid if using Special Operating Conditions D, and O.
    Fluid - Differential
      Change rear axle fluid only on E-450 and F-450/550 if using Special Operating Conditions D and O. Replace rear axle lubricant on all rear wheel drive (RWD) vehicles, if not using special operating conditions.
    Fluid - A/T
      Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid and filter (filter not required on 6F35). Vehicles equipped with the TorqShift transmission. If NOT using special operating conditions. Replace automatic transmission / transaxle fluid (not required on 6R60 / 6R75 / TorqShift transmissions) if using Special Operating Conditions I, D, T, and O.
    Filters
      Climate-controlled seat filter
    Engine Oil
      Change engine oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months if using Special Operating Conditions T, D, O, E. Change engine oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months or 200 hours of engine operation if using Special Operating Conditions I. If not using Special Operating Conditions T, I, D, O or E.
    Drive Belt
      Replace drive belt(s) if not replaced within the last 100,000 miles (160,000 km).
    Coolant
      Change engine coolant.
    Cabin Air Filter / Purifier
      Replace cabin air filter (if equipped). If not using Special Operating Conditions. Replace cabin air filter as required (if equipped) if using Special Operating Conditions I, D and O if applicable.
    Air Filter Element
      If using Special Operating Condition D as required. Replace engine air filter.
Rotate
    Tires
      Rotate tires, inspect tires for wear and measure tread depth if not using Special Operating Conditions T, I, D, O or E. (Vehicles with dual rear wheels should only rotate if unusual wear is noted. Rotate tires, inspect tires for wear, measure tread depth and inspect wheel ends for end play and noise. Vehicles with dual rear wheels should only rotate if unusual wear is noted. For vehicles with different front-to-rear tire pressures, the tire pressure must be adjusted and the tire pressure sensor training must be done. If using Special Operating Conditions T, I, D, O or E.
