4-140 Turbocharged Engine

1. Remove air cleaner cover and air cleaner element.
2. Disconnect carbon canister hose, then the vane air meter electrical connector.
3. Loosen hose clamp on turbocharger air inlet hose, then disconnect hose at vane air meter.
4. Remove four vane air meter bracket attaching screws, then the vane air meter and air cleaner housing bracket.
5. Loosen vane air meter inlet hose clamp, then remove hose from meter.
6. Remove three vane air meter attaching screws, then the vane air meter.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque vane air meter attaching screws to 15 - 22 ft. lbs.
