High installation efforts may be encountered when installing fuel line spring lock couplings. When installing fuel line spring lock couplings, lubrication of the O-rings with clean engine oil must be performed for ease of installation. For additional information, refer to the 1986 Car Shop Manual, Volume D, Section 24-50- 10.
