Wiper Motor: Service and Repair


FRONT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.
3. Remove left side wiper arm. Lift water shield cover from passenger side cowl.
4. Remove linkage retaining clip from wiper motor arm.
5. Remove wiper motor attaching bolts, then the wiper motor.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque wiper motor attaching bolts to 60-85 inch lbs.

REAR
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove wiper arm and blade.
2. Remove pivot shaft attaching nut and washers, then disconnect wiper motor electrical connector. Pull connector only. Do not pull wires.
3. Remove wiper motor attaching nut, then the motor.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
