TFI Module:

TEST 5, STATOR
1. Remove distributor from engine and separate TFI module from distributor.
2. With TFI module removed, measure and record resistance values between module terminals, and compare values as follows:
a. Resistance between terminals GND and PIP-in should be greater than 500 ohms.
b. Resistance between terminals PIP PWR and PIP in should be less than 2000 ohms.
c. Resistance between terminals PIP PWR and TFI PWR should be less than 200 ohms.
d. Resistance between terminals GND and IGN GND should be less than 2 ohms.
e. Resistance between terminals PIP-in and PIP should be less than 200 ohms.
3. If resistance values recorded in previous step are within specified limits, replace stator. If values are not, replace TFI.
