Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the resonance chamber from the Vane Air Flow (VAF) meter and position the resonance chamber and air duct free from the work area.
3. Disconnect the VAF meter electrical connector.

Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter:






4. Remove the ignition coil wire routing bracket.
5. Remove the VAF meter mounting nuts and remove the VAF meter and gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the VAF meter gasket and position the VAF meter and install the mounting nuts.
2. Install the coil wire routing bracket and install the mounting nut.
3. Connect the VAF meter electrical connector.
4. Connect the resonance chamber to the VAF meter.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
