Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Ignition Coil Removal:





Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Ignition Coil Wire:





2. Disconnect the coil wire from the ignition coil.

Igntion Coil Electrical Connector:





3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil.
4. Remove the nuts, screws and bracket from the ignition coil.
5. Remove the ignition coil.
Installation
1. Position the ignition coil and install the screws, bracket and nuts.
2. Connect electrical connector.
3. Connect the coil wire.
4. Connect negative battery wire.
5. Check for proper operation.
