Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.






2. Remove the two mounting bolts from the module bracket.






3. Disconnect the two electrical connectors from the passive restraint control module and remove the module.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the two electrical connectors to the passive restraint control module.
2. Place the module into its mounting position and install the two mounting bolts into the module bracket.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Check the passive restraint system for proper operation.
