Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

Cable/Actuator Assembly

1. Remove two bolts from cable actuator.
2. Release cable from accelerator pedal, then pull cable into engine compartment.
3. Loosen locknut, then remove cable from actuator.
4. Loosen locknut, then remove cable from bracket and throttle linkage.
5. Remove cable/actuator assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque cable/actuator assembly retaining bolts to 6-8 ft. lbs.
