When checking cylinder compression, the lowest cylinder reading must be at least 75 percent of the highest cylinder reading. Perform compression test with engine at normal operating temperature, with spark plugs and air cleaner removed, throttle wide open and distributor end of coil secondary wire grounded. Refer to the compression pressure limit chart for pressure specifications.
