Identification Tag:

This transmission may be identified by the tag attached to the upper righthand extension housing to transmission case bolt. The tag includes model prefix and suffix, a service identification number, and a build date code. The service identification number indicates changes to service details which affect interchangeability when the transmission model is not changed.
