Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Locate Air Charge Temperature (ACT) sensor located in the air cleaner lower housing.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from sensor.
3. Remove sensor by unscrewing counterclockwise.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the ACT sensor into the air cleaner lower housing.
2. Tighten the sensor to 15 ft lb (20 Nm).
3. Connect the electrical connector to sensor.
