Camshaft Sensor Replacement:
The Camshaft Position
(CMP) sensor signal is used to synchronize the firing of the ignition coil in relation to the crankshaft, pistons, and cylinder intake and exhaust valves. This enables the ignition module and the Electronic Control Assembly
(ECA) to control the amount of timing advance and timing of fuel injection.
