EGR Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
^ Remove throttle body air intake tube.
^ Disconnect EGR pressure valve sensor hose or hoses from EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
^ Disconnect EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube at EGR valve and EGR valve tube to manifold connector.
^ Remove EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube retainer nut from cylinder head stud bolt.

INSTALLATION
^ To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube to EGR valve and EGR valve tube to manifold connector to 35-45 Nm (26-33 ft lb). Tighten EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube retainer nut to cylinder head stud bolt to 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft lb).
