Message Center Control Assembly (MCCA) Switch Module

The Message Center Control Assembly (MCCA) message center switch module is located immediately to the RH side of the instrument cluster. The MCCA message center switch module consists of four buttons:
1. Select.
2. E/M.
3. Tach.
4. Reset.
All buttons are white with headlamp switch off and are illuminated in green with the headlamp switch on. Dimming is controlled by the rheostat within headlamp switch.

The button actuations are accompanied by an audible tone generated by the safety belt warning chime which is activated by the instrument cluster.

Select
Moves cursor from top to bottom of the message center. The selected function is indicated by the pointer.

English/Metric (E/M)
Alternately switches EIC information from English (MPH, MILES, MPG) to metric (Km/h, Km, L/100 Km) mode.

TACH
Activates and deactivates tachometer.

RESET
Resets trip distance and average economy function selected in fuel computer. Two successive presses of reset button within two seconds will cause all resetable functions to reset.
