QA3 - Check STI Circuit Continuity

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

- Measure resistance between Self Test Input (STI) circuit in the Self-Test single pin pigtail connector and test pin 48 at the breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to QA4. QA4 - Check STO Circuit Continuity

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect PCM. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
