TB13 - Check Continuity of 4X4L Wire

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Disconnect the generic electronic module. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Measure resistance between test pin 42 at the breakout box and the same 4x4L pin at the generic electronic module vehicle harness connector.

- Is the resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to TB14. TB14 - Check For Short to Power and Ground

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
