TF11 - Check TSS Circuits For Short to Power

- Key "OFF".

- Transmission 12 pin connector disconnected.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Key "ON".

- Measure voltage between TSS(+) circuit at the transmission 12 pin vehicle harness connector and chassis ground.

- Measure voltage between TSS(-) circuit at the transmission 12 pin vehicle harness connector and chassis ground.

- Are both voltages less than 0.5 volt?

Yes -- Key "OFF". Go to TF12. TF12 - Check TSS Circuit For Short to Ground or Each Other

No -- Service short circuit. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
