EVAP 4 - Check Fuel Tank-Gas Cap-Rollover Valve

^ Check for holes, cracks and leaks in fuel vapor hose between fuel tank and carbon canister(s).

^ Check for fuel tank damage.

^ Check for damaged rollover valve.

^ Is a fault indicated?

YES -- Service as necessary. Remove pressure pump and gauge. Reconnect carbon canister(s). Drive vehicle. If symptom is still present, return to diagnostic routines. SEE Powertrain Management / Testing and Inspection / Diagnostic Routines.

NO -- Remove pressure pump. Go to EVAP 5. EVAP 5 - Check Vacuum In EVAP System
