Cruise Control Servo: Testing and Inspection

1. Turn key off, then using jumper, connect terminal 2 on speed control servo to battery positive terminal.
2. When terminal 3 is connected to battery negative terminal, speed control servo should operate.
3. Using jumper, connect terminal 2 while connecting terminals 1, 3, and 4 to battery negative terminal. Verify speed control servo pulls in.
4. Maintain previous connections and remove jumper from terminal 3. Verify servo remains pulled in.
5. Using jumper, connect terminal 2 while connecting terminals 1, 3, and 4 to battery negative terminal, remove jumper from terminal 2. Verify servo releases immediately.
6. If servo does not operate as specified, replace servo. If servo operates as specified, return to diagnostic tests.
