Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2.
Raise the vehicle.
3.
Disconnect the heat
oxygen sensor electrical connector.
NOTE: When removing the downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor
(HO2S), disconnect the electrical wire clip.
4.
Remove the heated oxygen sensors.
NOTE: The exhaust manifold heat shield is not shown for clarity.
INSTALLATION 1.
Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
