Bench Testing-Engine Off

Static testing procedures allow shop testing of the transmission in the vehicle or on the bench. Completion of these tests prove out transmission electronics.
- Refer to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart for the DTCs retrieved.
- Use 88 Digital Multimeter and EEC-V 104-Pin Breakout Box to perform the pinpoint tests as indicated by the retrieved DTCs.
- Repair as indicated by the pinpoint tests. Always retest the transmission and road test the vehicle after performing repairs.
