Wiper Motor Linkage: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Park the wiper pivot arms in the highest position on the glass.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.For additional information, refer to Battery.







3. Remove the wiper pivot arm nut covers.







4. Remove the nuts and the wiper pivot arms.
5. Remove the cowl top vent panels.






6. Remove the four bolts, wiper mounting arm and wiper pivot shaft assembly.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Adjust the wiper pivot arms.Refer to Windshield Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment.
