Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.







2. Remove the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor shield.
1 Remove the CKP shield nut.
2 Remove the CKP shield.







3. Remove the CKP. Disconnect the electrical connector.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
