Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.







2. Remove the Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
1 Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2 Remove the screws.
3 Remove the TP sensor.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Adjust the TP sensor. For additional information, refer to Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Adjustment. Adjustments

NOTE: TP sensor adjustment is necessary at the time of installation.
