Normal Operation
The rear only parking aid system is enabled when the vehicle ignition is in RUN and transmission is in REVERSE. For a front and rear system the front and rear sensors will always be active when the transmission is in REVERSE with the vehicle ignition in RUN. When the transmission is in DRIVE the front sensors will be active if the vehicle speed is above 0 km/h and below 8 km/h (5 mph). The parking aid module supplies power to the parking aid sensors on circuits 1439 (BN/PK) and 2082 (YE/RD). The parking aid module supplies ground to the parking aid sensors on circuit 1440 (DG/YE) and 2083 (BK/PK). The parking aid module receives a signal from the parking aid sensors on circuits 1444 (DB/YE), 1443 (WH/LB), 1442 (DG/WH), 1441 (WH/LG), 2078 (PK/WH), 2079 (LG/BK), 2080 (GY/BK), and 2081 (LB/YE).
