Normal Operation
During a PSD power close, there is a set time determined for the PSD to cinch. The PSD latch has 2 positions that are monitored by the PSD module, a primary and secondary. Just before the PSD detent switch reaches the secondary latch position (partially latched), a momentary ground signal is received by the power sliding door module on circuit 1227 (WH). Just before the PSD detent switch reaches the primary latch position (fully latched), another momentary ground signal is received by the power sliding door module on circuit 1227 (WH). If the duration of time between these two momentary ground signals is greater than the maximum allowed, DTC B2270 sets.
Possible Causes
- PSD alignment and adjustment
- low battery voltage
- track fasteners
- PSD cables
- PSD rear center hinge
- cable and guide interference
- PSD contacts
- PSD detent switch.
- circuit 1251 (YE/RD) open
- circuit 1227 (WH) open
