Normal Operation
During an open operation, the PSD module grounds the unlatch actuator on circuit 1251 (YE/RD) to unlatch the sliding door. Circuit 1251 (YE/RD) is shared by the unlatch actuator and the detent switch as a ground return to the PSD module. If the PSD module detects a detent signal change on circuit 1251 (YE/RD), the PSD module powers the clutch and motor to open the sliding door. If the PSD module does not detect the detent switch to ground during self test, DTC B2591 sets.

Possible Causes
- circuit 1227 (WH) open
- circuit 1251 (YE/RD) open
- circuit 1252 (GY/RD) open
- PSD adjustment
- PSD interior/exterior handle adjustment
- PSD contact
- PSD detent switch
- PSD latch actuator
- PSD remote control
- PSD module
