Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the high beam status from the SJB over the SCP network, circuits 914 (TN/OG) and 915 (PK/LB). The SJB monitors both headlamp switch position and multifunction switch position inputs to determine the high beam position. When the headlamp switch is in the ON or AUTOLAMP position and the multifunction switch is in the high beam position, the SJB illuminates the high beam headlamps and simultaneously provides a command to the instrument cluster to illuminate the high beam indicator.
