Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the turn/hazard status from the SJB over the SCP network, circuits 914 (TN/OG) and 915 (PK/LB). The SJB monitors the ignition switch position and the multifunction switch position inputs to determine whether the turn signals are in the RH or LH position or if the hazard lamps are selected ON. When the KEY is in the RUN position and the multifunction switch is in the RH, LH or hazard ON position, the SJB sends a command to the instrument cluster to illuminate the appropriate indicator(s).
