Timing Components: Specifications

Timing chain guide bolts 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
Timing chain tensioner bolts 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft and Crankshaft sprockets.
Tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





NOTE: Fasteners 1, 8, 13 and 16 are stud bolts.

Engine front cover bolts and studs
Tighten in the sequence shown to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





Crankshaft pulley, tighten the bolt in four stages:
Stage 1: Tighten to 120 Nm (86 ft. lbs.).
Stage 2: Loosen one full turn.
Stage 3: Tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
Stage 4: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
