Transaxle Draining and Filling

Material:

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
- Position a drain pan under the transaxle.
3. Install a new washer and the drain plug.
- Tighten to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).

4. NOTE: Prior to removal, clean the area of the fill plug.

Remove the fill plug.

5. NOTE: Do not overfill the transaxle. This will cause transaxle fluid to be forced out of the case.

Fill the transaxle will the recommended fluid.





6. Install a new washer and fill plug.
- Tighten to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).
