DP1 CHECK FOR TCM AND PCM DTCS
- Carry out the TCM self-test.
- Carry out the PCM self-test.
Are any TCM or PCM DTCs present?
YES
For DTC P0C2F, GO to DP2
.
For all others, DISREGARD the current diagnostic trouble code (DTC) at this time. DIAGNOSE the next DTC. GO to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Charts and Descriptions Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions.
NO
GO to DP2.

DP2 CHECK FOR CORRECT TIRE SIZE AND INFLATION
- Verify the correct tire size and inflation.
Are the tire size and inflation OK?
YES
GO to DP3.
NO
REPAIR as necessary.
Clear the DTCs.
Road test the vehicle.
REPEAT the self-test.

DP3 CHECK FOR ABS DTCS
- Check the ABS module for wheel speed sensor DTCs.
Are any ABS DTC present?
YES
REFER to Anti-Lock Control to diagnose the wheel speed sensor DTCs.
NO
GO to DP4.

DP4 CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TEST
- Access the freeze frame data (if available) and record the DTC conditions.
- Access the TCM and monitor the M_SPEED PID.
- Access the TCM and monitor the VSS PID.
- Road test the vehicle. Test drive using freeze frame data conditions. (if available).
- Refer to the table above.
Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed?
YES
GO to DP5.
NO
GO to Pinpoint Test TP TP - Introduction.

DP5 CHECK FOR CORRECT GENERATOR RPM
- Access the TCM and monitor the G_SPEED PID.
- Access the TCM and monitor the ENGRPMA PID.
- Place the gear selector lever in PARK.
- Start the engine using the engine running diagnostic mode. Refer to Diagnostic Modes Diagnostic Modes.
- Refer to the table above.
Does the generator RPM correspond with the engine RPM?
YES
GO to DP6.
NO
GO to Pinpoint Test TO TO - Introduction.

DP6 CLEAR PCM DTCS
- Clear the PCM DTCs.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Repeat the KOEO and KOER self-tests and retrieve the continuous memory DTCs.
Are any DTCs present?
YES
DISREGARD the current diagnostic trouble code (DTC) at this time. DIAGNOSE the next DTC. GO to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Charts and Descriptions Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions.
NO
Test complete.
