TO1 CHECK FOR CORRECT GENERATOR RPM

Note: Refer to the table at the beginning of this pinpoint test for correct generator to engine RPM correlations.

- Clear the TCM DTCs.
- Access the TCM and monitor the G_SPEED and RPM_TCM PIDs.
- Place gear selector lever in PARK.
- Key ON, engine running.
- Record the generator RPM at different engine speeds.

Does the generator RPM correspond with the engine RPM in the table?

YES
GO to TO2.

NO
INSTALL a new transaxle assembly. REFER to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission.

TO2 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

Is DTC P0C2F present?

YES
GO to Pinpoint Test TP TP - Introduction.

NO
Unable to duplicate or identify the concern at this time.

RETURN to Symptom Charts, Symptom Charts, to continue diagnosis.
