Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Ignition Starter Switch







Disconnect battery.
Clear screw head and remove screws on both sides (1).
Pull out switch.
Disconnect connector (2).

Install hint:
Check position of ignition switch in relation to steering wheel lock.

Check position of direction indicator stalk in relation to steering wheel.
Secure screws with varnish.


CAUTION!
After installation, carry out mechanical test (lock cylinder) and electric operational check (e.g ignition, radio, etc.).
