BC1 Causes A/C and Interior Light Problem

MODEL
2004 MY R50 (Cooper)/R53 (Cooper S) from 03/04

SITUATION
A/C fan speed is unstable and interior light does not work

CAUSE
Incorrect BC1 installed

PROCEDURE
Check part number of installed BC1. If P/N 61 35 6 943 157 or 61 35 6 935 645, replace the BC1 using BC1 using P/N 61 35 6 949 289 or later.
