      Check windshield and tailgate wipers and washer systems; wiper blades, washer jet positions.
    Washer Fluid
      Check windshield washer fluid level and antifreeze protection. Fill up and/or correct if necessary. Record freeze point temerature

      Road test with check of brakes, suspension, steering, clutch/manual or automatic transmission

    Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber
      Visually check shock aborbers for leaks Visually check suspension struts for leaks
    Suspension
      Check condition of track rods and front axle joints.
    Steering
      Check steering for absence of play. Check condition of steering linkage and joint disc.
    Seat Belt
      Check condition and function of safety belts.
    Rear Defogger
    Power Steering
      Check power steering system for leaks. Check p/s fluid level; add if necessary.
    Parking Brake System
      Check parking brake actuation. Adjust if necessary.
    Mirrors
      Check rear view mirrors
    Lighting and Horns
      Check lighting system, i.e headlights, foglights, parking, back-up, license plate, interior, glove box, illuminated make-up mirrors, luggage area lights. Check instrument panel and dashboard illumination, all warning/indicator lights, check control, turn signals, hazard warning flashers, brake lights, horns, headlight dimmer/flasher switch.
    Heating and Air Conditioning
      Check heater/air conditioner blower fan. Check air conditioner operation
    Fluids
      Inspect for signs of leakage from transmission, steering, engine, fuel system, brakes, coolant and suspension
    Exhaust System
      Check condition, position, and mounting of exhaust system. Check for leaks
    Doors, Hood and Trunk
      Check central locking system, check operation of all latches.
    Cooling System
      Check engine cooling system/heater hose connections for leaks.
    Coolant
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Check brake system connections and lines for leaks, damage, and incorrect positioning. Check overall thickness of front and rear disc brake pads (outer pads only) using special tool. Record values. If replacement is necessary, examine brake disc surfaces. Clean brake pad contact points in calipers. Grease wheel centering hubs. Check thickness of parking brake linings only when replacing rear brake pads.

    Body and Frame
      Inspect entire body according to terms of rust perforation limited warranty (must be performed as least every two years)
    Battery
      Check battery state-of-charge; and charge if required
    Axle Shaft Assembly
      Half-shafts: Check for leaks at flexible boots.
    Air Bag Systems
      Visually examine the SRS airbag units for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of decals, decorations or accessories.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Change oil and oil filter while engine is at operating temperature.
    Engine Oil
      Change oil and oil filter while engine is at operating temperature.
