Power Mirror Control Module: Service and Repair

61 35 070 Removing And Installing/Replacing Module For Folding Exterior Mirror







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear left side trim panel
- In R60 only: Remove right luggage compartment wheel arch panel.







Unscrew nuts (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2) and remove control unit for folding exterior mirror.







Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/encoding.
