SUBJECT
Service Engine Soon (MIL) is On - Fault 2FAC: Engine Switch-off Time

MODEL
R56 with N12 and N14 engines from SOP to present

SITUATION
The "Service Engine Soon" light is on and the following MIL relevant fault is stored:

^ 2FAC Engine switch-off time, plausibility

CAUSE
Currently this fault is under investigation.

CORRECTION
Do not attempt to repair this problem by replacing any parts or by programming the vehicle.

The presence of this fault by itself may be ignored, since it will not result in any driveability or operational problems. Clear the fault and release the vehicle.

This bulletin will be updated once a service solution is available.
