Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

12 14 537 - Replacing camshaft pulse generator

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit
- Check stored fault messages
- Remove right engine support arm

Unlock and disconnect pulse generator plug.
Release screw (1), remove pulse generator (2).

Installation Note:
Replace sealing ring and coat with antiseize agent.
Tightening torque 13 62 1AZ.

Note:
Now clear the fault memory.
