Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

61 31 020 - Removing and installing/replacing ignition starter switch





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery





Release screws (1).
Withdraw ignition starter switch.
Disconnect plug connection (2) and remove ignition starter switch.

Installation:
Check alignment of ignition starter switch to steering wheel lock.

Check alignment of turn indicator lever to steering wheel.

Secure screws with paint.
