Monitoring in general: At each outlet on the trailer module, a short circuit, an open circuit or the correct functioning of a circuit can be detected. Identifying, checking and making fault entries for a short circuit takes around 5 seconds when the outlet is switched on. Identifying a short circuit as no longer present also takes around 5 seconds when the outlet is switched on.

Dealing with short circuits in the trailer module: When a short circuit is detected, the outlet is switched off. After the repair has been carried out, a terminal change must be carried out and the light must be switched back on so that the corresponding outlet is re-activated. When this process has been carried out 50 times, the "permanent short circuit fault" fault entry can no longer be deleted. The trailer module must be renewed.
