Initialize Slide/Tilt Sunroof

The service function "Initialize slide/tilt sunroof" can be used to initialize the slide/tilt sunroof by means of a diagnosis command.

Preconditions
Bear the following points in mind so that the initialization runs without faults:
- Adequate battery voltage present, connect charger is necessary.
- Terminal "R" or terminal "15" switched on


NOTE: The anti-trapping mechanism is NOT active during the initializing procedure. Before starting the initialization, it must therefore be ensured that there are no external parts in the area of the sliding roof.

RISK OF INJURY: Make sure that there are no persons in the area of the sliding roof during the initialization.

Initialization procedure
After starting the initialization, the slide/tilt sunroof is moved to all its positions:
- Open electrically operated sun shade
- Raise and lower slide/tilt sunroof
- Open and close slide/tilt sunroof
- Close electrically operated sun shade
