51 45 050 Removing And Installing/Replacing Instrument Panel Upper Section Trim







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Clamp off battery negative lead
- Remove cover for instruments
- Remove air outlet vent covers on left and right
- Remove solar sensor







Release screws (1).







Release screws (1).







Release screws (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Tightening torque 72 12 7AZ.
Disconnect plug connection (3).
Raise instrument panel upper section and feed out cable for solar sensor.







Installation:
Feed in cable for solar sensor:
- Lay instrument panel upper section on lower section.
- Raise instrument panel upper section at rear.
- Insert cable for solar sensor through opening in instrument panel upper section.







Installation:
Insert centring pins of instrument panel upper section correctly into locators (1).
