51 71 482 - Removing and installing/replacing left or right tension strut (on rear axle)





Special tools required:
- 00 9 120 00 9 120 Torque Angle Measuring Dial





Important!
Vehicles must not be driven without tension struts.

Driving without tension struts may damage the vehicle body.

Tension strut screws must be tightened to torque and then tightened down with special tool 00 9 120 00 9 120 Torque Angle Measuring Dial.





Release screws (1) and remove outer tension strut (2).

Release screw (3) and remove inner tension strut (4).

Installation Note:
Replace screws (1 and 3).

Tightening torque 51 71 2AZ Specifications.
